Buschke –Löwenstein tumour
The Buschke–Löwenstein tumour is uncommon. It has the histological pattern of a verrucous carcinoma. It is locally destructive and invasive but appears not to spread to lymph nodes or to metastasise. Treatment is by surgical excision. Frederic E Mohs , 1910–2002, twentieth century American physician and general surgeon, University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI, USA, developed the Mohs’ micrographic surgical technique in 1938 for cutaneous malignant lesions.
